Garment Printing Capacity Calculation Process

Area: Screen Printing (Machine & manual)

Objectives: To identify printing machine production capacity and set printing target plan to achieve ultimate goal.

Machine type:

Name: M&R Printing machine 

No of Wings: 10 wings 

Machine quantity: 01 pc

Table type: 

Properties: Artificial leather & Glass

No. of table: 12 tables 

Average color: 06 color

Average printing area: (8*8) sq. inch

Printing Capacity calculation: 

For manual printing (Table),

Print panel output in 40 min from 01 table= 60 pcs

Therefore, total output in 01 shift= (60*8*60)/40 = 720 pcs/table

 [1 shift=8 hour, 1hr=60 min]

So, Output in a day = (720*2) pcs/table = 1440 pcs/table [01 day=2shift]

Now, total printing output in 12 table= (1440*12) = 17,280 pcs/day 

Finally, total output in a month= (17280*26) = 449280 pcs/month [01 month=26 days]

For M&R printing (machine),

Print panel output in 01 hour= 120 pcs

Therefore, total output in 01 shift= (120*8) = 960 pcs [1 shift=8 hour]

So, Output in a day = (960*2) pcs = 1920 pcs/day [01 day=2shift]

Finally, total output in a month= (19200*26) = 49920 pcs/month [01 month=26 days]

Now, total monthly printing capacity= Manual + Machine = (449280 + 49920) pcs/month

 = 4, 99,200 pcs/month

Revenue calculation:

Cost per dozen = 3.5 USD

Therefore, cost per pc = 3.5/12 = 0.30 USD

So, total cost per month = 4, 99,200*0.30 = 1, 49,760 USD/month

And, cost per day = 1, 49,760/26 = 5760 USD/day ≈ 6,000 USD
